IN BRUGES (4.5 BDKs)

In BrugesUntil I saw this movie today, I knew nothing about it except for the fact that it had some big name stars and that someone told me if it was in the same vein as a Guy Ritchie film. I was deciding on seeing this or that new Paris Hilton film. I clearly made the right decision. Now, you can call me an idiot, because I have never heard of BRUGES. Until I saw the film, I was pronouncing it using the S at the end like a complete idiot. I didn't know that the S was totally silent. I have never even been out of this country, except for once to the Bahamas, let alone going to BELGIUM. Who has ever heard of Bruges? Well, Colin Farrell's character thought the exact same way I did in the film. Now, you could almost consider this movie like a running advertisement for Bruges, even thought Farrell's character is trashing it the entire time. His sidekick in the film is the one that actually enjoys the place and makes it out to be somewhere interesting to visit. . .

TRUE ROMANCE (1993)
True Romance
Hands down my favorite film of all time! This film was written by Quentin Tarantino and directed by Tony Scott (Man on Fire, Enemy of the State). The scene that takes place between Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper is a masterpiece. The film also stars Gary Oldman, Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette, Brad Pitt, James Gandolfini, Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Penn, Tom Sizemore and Michael Rappaport.

The Boondock Saints 7/01/08:  I interviewed writer/director TROY DUFFY, who directed The Boondock Saints, on my show on June 29th. He broke down all of the legal issues and problems he had with the first film and officially announced that he will start filming The Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day in late August/early September 2008. Troy stayed on with me for almost 2 hours taking calls from all across the country.
